Hush Puppies

Ingredients
2 c fine cornmeal
2 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup onion – finely chopped
1 1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup water
cooking oil
Instructions
mix meal, powder, and salt – stir in onion. Blend milk and water together – add in – add more if needed to make dough stiff. Shape batter into small round balls – dropp into hot oil.
