  1. Here’s an invitation to the Yankee magazine writers. Please take time to research the new look around the Western Lake’s Region of New Hampshire. Over the past five years or so the culture has transcended to include theater, music, and find/fun restaurants. Plan a visit that includes a stay at either the Ballard House in Meredith, or the Opeechee Inn in Laconia. Have lunch at either kitchen Cravings in Guilford or Lakeside Grill and Deli in Meredith. Do you dinner at Lavinia’s in Center Harbor, or Tavern 27 in Laconia. For music or a show research Meadowbrook in Gilford or Pittmans Freight Room in Laconia or the Winnepesaukee playhouse in Meredith.
