Connecticut Foliage Drive | Photographs

A collection of images from photographer Julie Bidwell following a favorite Connecticut foliage drive, from from Goshen to Granby, through peak fall color.

Photographer Julie Bidwell captured the following images from a favorite Connecticut foliage drive, from Goshen to Granby. We stopped for classic red barns, rushing rivers, and trailing rock walls — just a few of the classic scenes that attract visitors to the area each year. 1. I would like to thank you for singlehandedly making me completely homesick with these beautiful pictures of all the towns surrounding where I grew up. I love this area and dream of moving back there one day. Thank you for the pictures. The northwest corner does have a tendency to get overlooked and your pictures show how stunning it truly is there. 🙂

  2. Beautiful pictures but I live in Western N.Y. and have seen many areas here just as beautiful if not more so. We have Letchworth State Park which is considered one of the most beautiful parks in the country. We have the Finger Lakes wine trail in the fall and the scenery there is beyond beautiful. We also have the Genesee River which has some lovely waterfalls in downtown Rochester. We have Lake Ontario and lovely parks associated with it. Lighthouses, barns and farms, nice cities and plenty to do all year round! Please come and visit us and see for yourself!
