For most, the holiday season is defined by its rituals and traditions. Whether it’s a carol-singing stroll with neighbors followed by steaming cups of hot cocoa, savoring each bite of Grandma’s famous pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, or curling up in Dad’s lap for a reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas before bed on Christmas Eve, the traditions we look forward to each year with family and friends — both big and small, new and old — are often our favorite moments of the season.

We asked Yankee staffers about their favorite holiday traditions, and here’s some of what they had to share. We’d love it if you would tell us about your own holiday traditions in the comments section!

Happy Holidays!
