“I lived in Salem in the Willows neighborhood for about 30 years. My boys were born and brought up there, and we all loved it. Our private beach, Juniper, the Horribles Parade on July Fourth, Heritage Days fireworks … my sons fishing at the pier … the Willows Arcade, Hobbs ice cream and popcorn, Skee-Ball, and having the whole park to ourselves in the winter to sled and run with our dog. I left Salem for 15 years and now I’m back, having purchased a condo in the Derby Street Historic District. My sons returned after college to open their own restaurant … and I’m in love with Salem all over again. Walking to restaurants, cafes, farmers’ market, and beautiful little boutiques … yes, it is beautiful living in Salem!” —Polly
