it reminds me of simpler time in new england , when you could afford to live there
My mother “Ruby Hutchins” always planted hollyhocks in front of her kitchen windows. Of course, I think this is the best Yankee cover ever. Brings back so many memories. Love Yankee and thank you for printing this picture again. Lois Foss
I remember visiting Aunt Ruby and seeing her hollyhocks when I was a little girl.
