Photographers Christian and Jonathan Kozowyk captured the color and excitement of the annual Dartmouth Winter Carnival in Hanover, New Hampshire, for a 2011 Yankee Magazine feature. Dubbed “the Mardi Gras of the North,” the event includes ski competitions, a polar bear swim, a cappella and jazz concerts, human dogsled race, snow sculptures, and so much more.

My wife Kammie and I were thrilled to find a picture of our niece, Molly Parker (Class of 2010) in the slide show of the 2010 Dartmouth Winter Carnival shown in the January/ February 2011 issue of Yankee. I have been reading Yankee Magazine for over 40 years and have always enjoyed reading it cover to cover. Thank you and keep up the good work always.
