Great article but you missed my favorite, quiet spot in Bar Harbor–The Bayview which is right on the ocean with spacious rooms directly on the ocean, attentive staff, homemade, delicious breakfast included and homemade afternoon cookes–highly rated on trip advisor. We’ve been going there for years and they are always updating and very welcoming.
My personal favorite – Ocean Point Inn in East Boothbay. Out-of town location for relaxing, nice rooms, great food, beautiful view, pleasant and efficient staff.
