Gardens Aglow at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

Every year from mid-November to late December, thousands of Christmas lights brilliantly illuminate the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens.

Hailed as Maine’s biggest light display of the yuletide season, Gardens Aglow at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens just might be the closest thing you’ll find to a holiday wonderland. From 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. every Thursday through Sunday, these 295 acres of gardens in Boothbay, Maine, are illuminated with more than 650,000 lights. For 2021: This year the event is a driving tour, and timed tickets must be purchased online in advance.
