Irish Soda Bread French Toast
Ingredients
8 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 cup Irish Cream Liqueur (such as Bailey’s)
16 slices cinnamon raisin bread
Instructions
Combine all ingredients (except for bread). Keep refrigerated if made ahead.
Dip bread in batter. Fry on lightly oiled griddle until just crisp.
Dust with confectioners’ sugar, serve with butter and warm maple syrup, and enjoy!

I make my “Irish Toast” with the Baileys coffee cream, original flavor. It is delicious and I have been making it this way for years. It just gives it a bit of an Irish twist.

Yes
Can this be made ahead of time for a brunch?
Sounds yummy except for the nutmeg. I will leave that out. Nutmeg and I don’t get along very well.
