Old Lyme and Lyme, Connecticut | Photographs
Inspired by the Impressionist painters of the past, these photographs of Old Lyme and Lyme, Connecticut offer a beautiful escape.
A frequent contributor to Yankee Magazine, photographer Sara Gray was inspired by her summer 2015 assignment to revisit the Connecticut landscapes made so famous by Impressionist painters. Sara says the experience of traveling and photographing in their footsteps left her feeling connected to the painters, their artwork, and the landscape in new and exciting ways. Please enjoy this selection of some of Sara’s favorite shots.

You might want to be more specific that the pictures displayed on your website at http://www.yankeemagazine.com/article/photograpy/photographs-of-old-lyme-connecticut#_ are of Old Lyme AND Lyme (two different towns). Many of the places in the your pictures (especially the landscapes) are of Lyme, not Old Lyme.
Thanks, Humphrey. We’ve clarified that she photographed both Lyme and Old Lyme.
Thanks.
The Lyme Land Conservation Trust posted link to Yankee Mag photo essay on it Facebook page & its drawing a lot of interest. You should get some decent traffic from it.
