  1. I have always really liked Brown’s fried clams, which I have eaten since I attended UNH, where “cousin Stu” (his name was Jacob!) always took us for lobsters from his summer home at Salisbury Beach, MA. I have never had them at Bob’s Clam Hut, which are supposed to be extremely tasty, where, I know, they also serve lobster stew, which I just adore, and Lena’s Seafood of Salisbury, MA is also supposed to have outstanding fried clams and batter fried onion rings, which I also adore. Lena’s also sells batter fried clams, I discovered this winter, which I plan to eat when I am in that area. I plan to be doing a significant amount of food shopping near Lena’s, year round. Lena’s closes for the winter, but Bob’s is open year round. My sister went to college in Beverly, MA, so we went to Woodman’s “a lot” while she was there. I really do enjoy their fried clams and onion rings, I have to admit!!!!!!!!! I also really enjoyed the “clam trivia” regarding Woodman’s. I guess frying their first clam in “their eloquent clam career” was a significant event in their life, “ending up on the back of their marriage certificate”!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!

  2. there prices are over the top-they are charging way too much based on their name and history-shop around within 2 miles and find much better value and clams just as good.
