5.00 avg. rating (97% score) - 6 votes

Already our best beach town in New England, Ogunquit, Maine was also recently named America’s “Best Small Coastal Town” by USA Today for 2016. See more of Ogunquit in photos from contributing photographer Kindra Clineff.

Photographer Kindra Clineff captured summer in Ogunquit, Maine — the #1 beach town in New England — from both the air and ground in this series of photographs for our 2012 cover story on The Best Beach Towns in New England. The aerial photographs she shot from a helicopter gave her a real appreciation for for the beauty of this vast stretch of beach, but she also discovered that this great walking town was actually much easier to get around on foot. We can see why…

Please enjoy some of our favorite shots from her travels around the beautiful coastal town of Ogunquit, Maine.
