How to Make a Patriotic Fourth of July Star Runner

Materials for Patriotic Fourth of July Star Runner

  • 4th of July craft template (linked below)
  • printer
  • cardstock
  • sharpened pencil
  • paper in various reds, whites, and blues (plain sheets and/or 12×12-inch patterned scrapbook sheets, such as double-sided scrapbook paper)
  • legal-size paper
  • regular scissors
  • glue stick

How to Make a Patriotic Fourth of July Star Runner

  • Print three copies of the star template onto legal-size paper, and cut out three different star sizes. (Trace half of the star; then flip it over to the other side to trace the second half. Use the center line as a guide.)
  • Cut out large stars in various shapes, using whatever paper you’d like.
  • Place stars along the center of your table in any arrangement that looks best, depending on the shape of the surface.
  • Glue each star to the next wherever they overlap so that the whole decoration stays in place.

  1. Hey.. I’ve looked thru the Flip Magazine that this is listed with, July/Augest 2013 issue & I haven’t seen a mention, or picture of the “Star Template” mentioned?? Please, could someone let me know?
    I Also did not see the Star Runner in the Flip book magazine..
