You don’t need any special skills to pull off this easy Christmas terrarium project, just a small collection of cute holiday keepsakes and a bell jar. Look for synthetic snow at any craft store.

Materials to Make a Christmas Terrarium:

  • synthetic craft snow
  • decorative plate or cake stand
  • assortment of vintage ornaments and figurines (such as Santas and bottle-brush trees)
  • bell jar or glass dome

Instructions For a Christmas Terrarium:

Sprinkle a hearty dose of snow onto your plate or cake stand to form the bottom of the terrarium.

Place ornaments, figurines, and trees atop the snow to create a wintry scene.

Place your glass dome on top to complete the terrarium.
