Materials to Make Velvet Ribbon Ornaments
- hot-glue gun
- small wreath form (3 to 4 inches across)
- velvet ribbon, 1/4- to 1/2-inch wide (approximately 1 yard per ornament)
- synthetic leaves, berries, or other adornments
Instructions to Make Velvet Ribbon Ornaments
Place a small dot of hot glue on the wreath form and press one end of the ribbon into the glue. Wrap the ribbon tightly around the wreath form, overlapping it at even intervals; make sure that the form doesn’t show through.
Once you’ve wrapped the entire wreath, secure the end of the ribbon with an inconspicuous dot of hot glue.
Adorn your wreath with sprigs of leaves or berries. Tuck one end into the ribbon and secure with a small dot of hot glue.
