2 cups raw diced potatoes
1 pound fish fillets, haddock or cod
1 cup diced raw onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 cups water
1 can cream-style corn (l6-ounce)
1 can minced clams (8-ounce)
1-1/2 quarts milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon diced pimiento
Cook potatoes and onions with fish in salted water until vegetables are tender and fish flakes. Add corn, clams, and milk. Heat all to simmer. Add sugar, salt and pepper to taste, and 1 tablespoon diced pimiento. Serve topped with buttered crackers (any kind) sprinkled with chopped chives and/or parsley.
