1 cup butter/margarine, softened
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1-2/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3 cups quick oats, uncooked
6 ounces of white chocolate chips
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup coarsely chopped red candied cherries
1/2 cup sliced almonds
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla in large bowl. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Combine flour, baking soda, salt and baking powder. Mix into creamed mixture until well blended. Stir in, one at a time, oats, white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate, cherries and nuts with a spoon. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until set. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet. Remove to cooling rack.
