Homemade Whipped Cream
Dessert tastes better when topped with homemade whipped cream, and this recipe is super-easy to make. Double if making both Gingerbread-Pear Sandwich Cakes and Mocha Teacup Parfaits.

Ingredients
1 pint heavy cream
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon salt
Instructions
Combine ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed until mixture forms soft peaks. Chill.

Be careful with the salt. It really doesn’t need any.
