Snickers Salad
I found this recipe on an online site and thought it was a dish I could take to a get-together and it would be something no one had probably had before. There is no cooking involved which made it a plus for me. If you can’t have nuts or don’t like Snickers, try using Milky Way or your favorite candy bar and see what you get.
Yield
6-8 servings
Ingredients
1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
1 12-ounce container Cool Whip, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
6 Snickers bars, cut into bite-size pieces
4-6 Granny Smith apples, cut into bite-size pieces
Instructions
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar until thoroughly blended. Add Cool Whip and blend, then stir in Snickers and apples. Chill for one hour before serving.

On Saturday I had a cookout for several family members who had birthdays that week. I was looking for something new to make and found this recipe. Everyone really liked it a lot. No one had ever tasted anything quite like it, so refreshing, cool, and crisp on a summer’s eve. I loved that it was so easy to make. I’ll be making this one again.
A coworker made this for a party and it was delicious! Everyone loved it.
This is a wonderful recipe to bring to a family gathering. I made it with Milky Way candies and it was wonderful.
