Rolls – with jelly or jam

Yield

24 rolls

Ingredients

2 pkg yeast
1/2 c water
1 1/2 cup milk
1/2 c oil
1/2 c sugar
2 eggs
2 t salt
6-7 c flour
jelly or jam
1 stick butter

Instructions

Dissolve 2 pkg yeast in 1/2 c warm water.
Scald and cool 1 1/2 c milk. Add 1/2 c oil, 1/2 sugar and 2 eggs.
Add yeast mixture. Add 2 t salt.
Add 6-7 c of flour and knead to soft dough.
Let raise once, shape and pour 1 stick of melted butter over tops in both pans. Let raise again.
Bake at 375 degr. for 12 – 15 minutes.
(2 – 9×13 pans with 12 rolls in each pan)
