Riceless Spanish Rice

A recipe from the South Beach Diet web site submitted by 3fatchiks.

Ingredients

1 pound ground turkey
1/2 head of cabbage
1 can tomato product (any kind)
salt, pepper, garlic to taste.
1 large onion, chopped
1 tablespoon grated cheese (any kind)
1 green pepper, diced

Instructions

Brown meat, then add all ingredients. Simmer for about 35 minutes.

Notes

Or, instead of using the half head of cabbage, try pre-grated, multi-cabbage cole slaw in a bag.
