Raw Whole Grain Cereal

Ingredients

2 Tbsp Whole Grain(s) of choice (freshly ground grain)*
2 or 3 pieces of dried fruit**
5 Tbsp distilled water (enough to cover the cereal)

Instructions

The evening before, grind grain to a coarse powder consistency. Add liquid, cover and allow to sit overnight. May be refrigerated. Before serving, drain excess water, prepare and add fruit, fruit juice or milk, if desired.

*Any number of grains may be ground and used together or separately; some which might be included are: brown rice, buckwheat, rye, barley, millet, quinoa, oat groats (Never use instant oatmeal), flax seeds, or almonds.
Grind the grains in a food mill, coffee grinder, blender or Vita Mix. Store in tightly covered container. For each serving use two to four Tbsp of ground grains.

**Use one or more of your favorite fruits, if using fresh, add it just prior to serving.
