4 carrots, thinly sliced
1 to 2 onions, thinly sliced
4 pork chops
salt and pepper to taste

  1. Excellent dish. Real comfort food. The pork chops were moist and tender. The layer of carrots added a sweetness to the recipe that is hard to beat.

  2. I would make sure to trim all fat from the chops. Also, I cooked it uncovered. I think I would only uncover it for the last half hour of cooking. Flavor is great.
