Pecan Tassies

Quick and simple for all of the holiday get togethers.

Yield

Makes 24

Ingredients

Crust:
3oz.pkg cream cheese
1 stick of butter
1 cup flour, sifted

Filling:
1 egg
1 Tbsp. butter (softened)
1 Tbsp. vanilla
3/4 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
2/3 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

325 degrees/25 minutes

Crust
Blend softened butter and cheese with fork, gradually adding flour
chill dough for at least an hour.

Filling
Whisk all remaining ingredients together.

Assembly
Distribute dough in 1 inch balls into a mini-muffin pan, forming cups.
Fill each cup 3/4 full of filling.
Bake!
Allow pan to cool on wire rack for 30 minutes.
Flip pan over…enjoy!
