Pecan Crescents

A good choice for cookies to pack in a tin and send through the mail.

Yield

Makes 2 dozen.

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1 cup finely chopped pecans

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter, add sugar and vanilla, and blend well. Add flour and mix thoroughly. Mix in pecans. Shape into crescents and place on a cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
