Peanut Butter Cake

Easy to make.

Yield

12-16 slices

Ingredients

2-1/2 cups self-rising flour
1-1/2 cups sugar
1/3 cup creamy shortening
1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
2 eggs
1-1/4 cups milk

Frosting:
1 pound box of powdered sugar
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup shortening
1/4 cup milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cream together sugar, shortening, peanut butter, and eggs. Add milk and flour.
Pour batter into 2 9-inch greased cake pans. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until done.

For frosting mix all ingredients and beat until fluffy, add more milk if needed.
