1/2 cup butter or margarine (125 ml)
1/2 cup sugar (125 ml)
1/2 cup dark brown sugar – packed (125 ml)
1 egg – beaten
1/3 cup peanut butter (75 ml)
1/2 tsp vanilla (2 ml)
1 cup oatmeal (250 ml)
1 cup flour (250 ml)
1/2 tsp baking soda (2 ml)
1/4 tsp salt (1 ml)
Icing:
1 cup icing sugar (250 ml)
1/2 cup peanut butter (125 ml)
4 – 6 tbsp milk (60 – 90 ml)
Cream butter and sugars. Add egg, peanut butter and vanilla.
Mix well. Stir in oatmeal, flour, baking soda and salt.
Bake at 350F for 25 – 30 minutes in a greased 8″ x 8″ pan.
Combine ingredients for icing & blend well. Ice brownies while
warm.
