Old-Fashioned Sour Cream Drops

Ingredients
Mix together thoroughly:
1/2 c. soft shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Stir in:
1 c. sour cream
1 t. vanilla
Instructions
Sift together and stir in:
2 3/4 c. flour
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
Chill at least one hour. Drop rounded teaspoonfuls about 2″ apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake until delicately browned, just until, when touched lightly with finger, almost no imprint remains.
Temp: 400 degrees
Time: About 8-10 minutes
Amount: About 5 dozen
