I created this as a variety to my daily breakfast of oatmeal.
1/2 cup of quick oats, any brand
1 cup non-fat milk or non-fat half-and-half
1/4 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
1/4 cup dried cranberries or raisin
1/2 teaspoon minced crystallized ginger
Put all ingredients into a microwaveable bowl and microwave on high setting for approximately 2 minutes and 35 seconds (depending on your microwave, you may require more or less time).
