Oatmeal, Cranberry, and White Chip Cookie Jar Cookies

Yield

5 dozen cookies

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 large egg
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1-1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
1 cup dried cranberries
6 ounces white chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla and beat until well mixed. Combine flour and baking soda. Then add oats and mix until just combined. Finally, stir in cranberries and white chips.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until set.

  1. Very good. Nice texture and flavor. Easy to make. Festive! Using this for a cookie exchange I am going to this year. I did add 1/2 chopped toasted pecans, too.
