FRENCH TOAST CASSEROLE

Ingredients

1/2 c melted butter
1 1/2 c brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
French bread, day old and sliced 1″ thick
slices
8 eggs beaten
2 c milk
1/8 tsp salt

Instructions

In small bowl, mix together melted butter,brown sugar, and cinnamon. Press this mixture in the bottom of a sprayed 9″ x 13″ cake pan. Place French bread slices over this mixture, pressing pieces tightly together to hold them in place. In separate bowl, beat eggs, milk and salt. Carefully pour over bread, making sure that bread stays on the bottom of pan and does not float. Cover tightly and refridgerate overnight. Bake in 350 degree oven for 45 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes, then cut into small pieces. Flip pieces onto plates to serve.
