Extra- Special Dark Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

2 1/2 cups cake flour
1 1/2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 3/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cup shortening
1 egg and 3 yolks
3 squares unsweetened chocolate – melt and cool
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups sweet milk

Instructions

Line cake pans with parchment – 350 deg
Cream shortening and sugar beat in eggs and yolk until smooth and fluffy.
Stir in chocolate and vanilla. Add flour (which has had salt/etc added) – add flour and milk alternately beginning and ending with the flour

Bake 22-25 minutes
