This is a family recipe. They are very light and not too sweet. Enjoy!
1 cup butter, melted
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2-3 cups apples, peeled, cored and chopped
1 cup chopped nuts
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons cinnamon
In large bowl, beat butter, sugar, and eggs. Stir in apples and nuts. Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon, and fold into apple mixture. Pour batter into a greased 9×13-inch pan. Bake for 50 minutes at 350 degrees.
