The Abbruzeses use V-One Vodka, a small-batch spirit made by western-Massachusetts local Paul Kozub (v1vodka.com). Paul’s smooth concoction was inspired by his late grandfather’s Prohibition-era moonshine.
4 parts vodka
2 parts Cointreau
2 parts cranberry juice
1 part fresh lime juice
Garnish: fresh or frozen cranberries
Combine liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker with cracked ice. Shake well. Strain into chilled martini glasses. Top with cranberries.
