This is a very tasty recipe for chicken and potatoes.
1 c dry bread crumbs
1/2 c flour
2 t salt
2 t paprika
1 t seasoned salt
1 t sugar
1 t onion powder
1 t rubbed sage
1 t dried oregano
1/2 t pepper
1/2 t celery seed
1/2 t dried parsley flakes
1/4 t garlic powder
3 1/2 to 4 pounds chicken pieces, skin removed
3 T vegetable oil
Potatoes:
1 t olive or vegetable oil
1 t seasoned salt
1 t dried parsley flakes
1/2 t paprika
1/8 t garlic powder
1/8 t pepper
4 medium red potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
In a shallow bowl, combine the first 13 ingredients. Dip chicken in oil; coat with crumb mixture. Place on a greased (or foil-lined) cookie sheet with 1-inch side. For potatoes, combine oil, salt, parsley, paprika, garlic powder and pepper in a bowl. Mix. Add potatoes; stir until coated. Place around chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degr. for 1 hour or until patoes are tender and chicken juices run clear.
