Buckeyes

“There are many similar recipes for the following cookie-candy concoction) but the Rice Krispies make these unique.” –Whalewalk Inn, Eastham, Massachusetts

Yield

Makes 30-35

Ingredients

1 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons creamy peanut butter
3/4 cup Rice Krispies
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/8 cake of paraffin

Instructions

Mix first 4 ingredients thoroughly, then roll into small balls. Melt chocolate bits and paraffin in the top of a double boiler. Dip balls into chocolate, then place on foil to harden.
