Inspired by the World War I–era cocktail from Harry’s New York Bar in Paris, this simple batch cocktail features store-bought lemonade, gin, citrus slices, and sparkling wine.

Make-Ahead Instructions: Mix the lemonade and gin. Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days, then add the citrus slices and prosecco just before serving.

Yield

About 12 servings.

Ingredients

8 cups store-bought lemonade
1 cup gin, plus more to taste
1 orange, thinly sliced
1 lemon, thinly sliced
1 lime, thinly sliced
2 (750 ml) bottles prosecco or other white sparkling wine, chilled
Lime leaves, for garnish

Instructions

In a large pitcher, combine the lemonade and gin. Just before serving, add the orange, lemon, and lime slices and top with the prosecco. To serve, fill glasses with ice and pour the punch over the top, garnishing each with a lime leaf.
