Beginners Sourdough Bread

Ingredients

1 tsp active dry yeast
3 tbsp warm water
2 cups starter
3 tbsp sugar
1 1/2 tsp salt
3 tbsp powdered milk
2 tbsp veg. oil
3 to 4 cups flour

Instructions

grease 9″x5″ pan

Combine all – and beat until well blended
gradually stir in enough flour to make a medium-stiff dough

turn onto floured surface
knead 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic
Add flour as needed.
Shape into loaf – put in pan – cover with damp towel and let rise in warm spot 1-2 hours until doubled in size

350deg – 50 to 60 minutes (until sounds hollow)
