Basic Shortbread Dough

Dough for Caramel “Turtle” Tart or Chocolate-Hazelnut Tartlets (double if making both recipes)
Ingredients
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour
Instructions
Blend butter and brown sugar. Add flour and mix briefly, until dough can hold ball shape. Set aside and chill.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
I enjoyed making and tasting the recipe; however, my family enjoys their grandma’s old-time recipe even more.
