Easy Hot Lobster Dip

This easy hot lobster dip is sure to be the hit of any party; the only problem is it disappears too fast.

This easy hot lobster dip is sure to be the hit of any party; the only problem is it disappears too fast.

Yield

Makes 4 to 5 cups (30 or 40 servings).

Ingredients

1 cup mayonnaise
16 ounces cream cheese, softened
Dash of garlic powder
12 ounces lobster or crabmeat, cut into small chunks
Slivered almonds, for garnish

Instructions

Whip mayonnaise together with cream cheese. Add garlic powder and mix well. Rinse lobster meat and pat dry. Fold lobster into mayonnaise mixture and spread thinly in a buttered 7×10-inch Pyrex, or similar, pan. Sprinkle with almonds. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees F. Serve with crackers or small toast squares.
