4 egg whites, beaten stiff
2/3 cup sifted white sugar
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar
1/2 pint heavy cream
cooking chocolate
1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat the confectioners’ sugar into the egg whites, pour into a well buttered deep pie plate, and bake at 325 degrees F for 45 minutes. Cool. whip the cream, flavor it with sifted white sugar and vanilla, and spread on top of the Angel Pie. Grate cooking chocolate over the whipped cream, or make chocolate curls.
