The Tree Lighting Ceremony is an open-to-the-public event to celebrate the holiday season with us at Ocean House on the beautiful Rhode Island coast. Children will help us light the outdoor Christmas tree, and Santa Claus will make his big arrival on a fire truck! Children will have the opportunity to visit with Santa. In our upper parking lot, there will be a holiday village of local purveyors who will be selling holiday items. Complimentary. In the midst of all the magic leading up to Christmas, Santa checks into Ocean House for a bit of rest and enjoyment. Children and their parents are invited to see Santa for a private visit. Children who’ve landed on the Nice List can enjoy personal time with Santa, special photo opportunities and even a special gift to take home. $40 for up to two children per time (plus tax)

Fondue Village
December 2019 – March 2020
Following the popularity of last year’s exclusive Fondue Express, the first in-gondola dining experience in North America, Ocean House is expanding the concept with the Fondue Village, featuring three gondolas surrounding a crackling fire pit. The iconic AAA Five Diamond and Forbes Five-Star Ocean House resort will unveil the next chapter of its one-of-a-kind winter culinary pop-up experience, bringing good taste and whimsy to New England this December. As part of Relais & Châteaux’s emphasis on Delicious Journeys, Ocean House’s culinary team has created a distinct four-course prix fixe menu with optional Veuve Clicquot champagne pairings. Highlights include a traditional Swiss Raclette; a meat plate of Bresaola, Black Forest ham, cornichons, and pickled vegetables; cheese fondue, and Swiss plum tart with cinnamon ice cream and assorted Christmas cookies.
