One-Pie is our preferred brand for the perfect hit of sweetened pumpkin goodness in everything from traditional pumpkin pie and pumpkin bread to more modern pumpkin treats.

One-Pie’s history is rooted in Maine’s canning boom in the 19th and early 20th centuries, when the state was home to well over 100 canning operations churning out sardines, sweet corn, beans, apples, and, yes, pumpkin. One-Pie canned pumpkin (the company also offers canned squash) officially got its start at the Medomak Canning Company in Waldoboro. Sadly, nearly all of Maine’s canneries have now closed, and while One-Pie is still distributed from West Paris, Maine, it’s actually made in Illinois. Still, the brand holds a special place here in New England, where taste and tradition mingle.
