Fall Afternoon
Clouds and sun drape Lake Willoughby during an autumn afternoon.
Needs Repair
Of the more than three dozen covered bridges, this one was the most difficult to find as it was literally on a small river in a cornfield. Located near Troy Vermont, it was photographed on 5 October 2006 at 11:56 AM. Neglected but not forgotten.
Covered Bridge on Cole Hill Road
I took photos of more than three dozen covered bridges on my 3200 mile quest this autumn. This was one of the more difficult to find but was extremely photogenic. Photo was taken 5 October 2006 at 9:25 AM
Not Yet Peak
I was trying to capture a typical white New England church with peak foliage. This photo taken in East Poultney was definitely too early. It was taken on 4 October at 11:45 AM
Old Barn
While driving an unmarked country road, I found this old barn that was nestled in autumn colors. It was taken on 4 October 2006 at 3:00 PM
Old Mill Stream
This photo was taken on 4 October 2006 at 4:07 PM. It was pre-peak but captured a log dam waterfall, the covered bridge and part of the old mill.

This picture was taken at Fool On The Hill outside of Woodstock Vermont. This was my second trip to Vermont and a must see for the second time was Fool On The Hill. For someone from the Midwest, this is a very unique place to visit
