For Yankee’s September/October 2017 feature “Hidden Gold,” longtime contributing photographer Sara Gray spent two years capturing Vermont fall colors in some of the state’s lesser-known (though no less beautiful) autumn towns. We’ve put together a bonus collection of her images below, spotlighting the small-town beauty of the Calvin Coolidge State Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, the rolling landscape of the Kingdom Trails, the quirky Dog Chapel in St. Johnsbury, and more.
