New Hampshire’s lakes region is fun no matter the season. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 707), Amy is in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, to check out the award-winning Pickering House Inn, owned by Patty and Peter Cooke. She starts in the kitchen with Chef Andrew Holt to make some of the inn’s staple menu items before sitting down with Patty and Peter to learn about the history of the property. After a hearty meal, she heads over to Nordic Skier Sports to hit the trails for some cross-country skiing with Steve Flagg.
