Richard gets to experience the best of both worlds in this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 707). He starts at Pleasant Mountain, Maine’s longest-running ski area, with the director of skier experience, Rachael Wilkinson, to carve through some fresh pow. Then, he heads to Higgins Beach for winter surfing with Jon King, a musician better known as King Kyote. After a day of gliding through water, both frozen and fluid, Richard wraps it up by listening to a performance by Jon.
