The White Mountains have some competition. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 705). Richard is climbing one of the most hiked mountains in the world, Mt. Monadnock, located in southern New Hampshire. He joins mountain patrol ranger Kamryn Call and Paul Giorgio, Richard’s friend and experienced mountaineer. Both Paul and Kamryn grew up in the area and have a love for the “mountain that stands alone.” In this segment, Richard summits Monadnock and enjoys spectacular views from the top.
