This small town in Maine has a European feel. In this season 7 segment of Weekends with Yankee (episode 702), Amy is in Waldoboro to explore its most popular attractions. In this segment, she starts at Tops’l farm, a luxury resort doubling as a culinary destination. Over a sizzling plate of raclette cheese, she talks to owner Sarah Pike and learns about the resort’s history. Then, she visits Morse’s Sauerkraut, an institution serving the public for over a century. Amy wanders aisles stocked with unique, European delicacies and tries a variety of pickled goods with owner Cody Lamontagne. Lastly, Amy stops Moody’s Diner, where she orders a slice of blueberry pie (when in Maine).
